This is an exciting time in the development and training of dental nurses. This BSc in Dental Practice Management with Oral Health Promotion (Level 7) provides an excellent opportunity for dental nurses to enhance their career prospects and advance their academic learning and development.
This programme will enable dental nurses to further challenge the knowledge and skills acquired at Level 6, whilst also providing them with an opportunity to develop as professionals with the latest skills in clinical nursing, professional practice, practice management, communication, ICT, nutrition with oral health promotion, in addition to business accounting, dental practice marketing and research capabilities.
It is envisaged that upon completion of this degree, the dental nurse will be appropriately equipped to lessen the workload of the dentist by taking on the business-related tasks, assisting with the decision-making process in relation to practice management issues, while supporting and enhancing the quality of the dental healthcare provision.
