Award Titles

A parallel system of referring to awards is in place: one refers to the level of the award, while the other is for its formal title. The National Qualifications Authority of Ireland (NQAI) established a framework for the development, recognition and award of qualifications based on standards of knowledge, skill or competence acquired by learners. The National Framework of Qualifications provides a level for every award made in the jurisdiction, which are as follows:
