Dept of Adult & Continuing Education

There are an increasing number of adults both in the workplace or unemployed who wish to improve their knowledge and skills so as to increase their employment options. Many of them are contacting us and are considering education as an option. They are focusing for the future. Education is one of the best investments you can make for yourself and your family.

The Adult Education department has assisted hundreds of adult learners to achieve their academic potential and we take great pride in playing our part. Adult students are always highly motivated and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom.

We are the leading provider of part-time education in the midlands. Our growth continues because we respond to our community by providing courses that they want. We now plan to extend to our existing outreach centres and deliver some programmes in Portarlington and Ballinasloe.

We are very excited about the success and potential of our first pilot distance learning course which is delivered live to students via the internet. We plan to extend the range of courses which we can deliver through this method thereby allowing many more adults access to education.

Have a look through our prospectus and hopefully you will find a course which is appropriate to your needs. If you wish to discuss your options we would welcome a phone call or email and we will endeavour to assist you.
